    Biography:

    Sameera Reddy was born 14 December 1982 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh to a Telugu family. She has two sisters, Meghna Reddy and Sushma Reddy. She did her schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College.

    Acting Career:

    Sameera first appeared in the ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas's "Aur Aahista" music video when she was a graduate. She caught the attention of Bollywood and was cast in a pivotal role in the 2002 Hindi film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. In 2004, she appeared in Musafir, in which she played a sexy role.
    Apart from doing Bollywood movies, Reddy has also appeared in quite a few Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil films. She appeared in the Tamil film Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon, opposite Surya Sivakumar, which was a blockbuster. Reddy's acting and modest portrayal of a confident and down-to-earth girl earned her rave reviews.

    The hardcore beauty of Sameera Reddy is a Bollywood actress who was first seen in the music video ‘Ahista’. From a marketing executive to an actress, it’s been quite a journey.Find here about her small biography and her spicy images.

    Sameera was born in the Telugu speaking Reddy family on 14th December, 1978. She has two sisters, Meghna and Sushma. The Reddy ancestors hailed from a small town named Rajamundry in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

    Sameera lives with her parents and two sisters, Sushama (a VJ, model and actress) and Meghana (a supermodel) in Mumbai and spends significant amounts of time with Crayons and Dreamz Homes, her cause for getting homeless children off the streets of India.

    Sameera Reddy Speaks Telegu as her mother tounge. She had given her best acting performance in the movie “Taxi 9211″, she is one the the sexiest bollywood diva, she is also a great dancer.


    While still a student in Sydenham College, she sang in Pankaj Udhas' video 'Aashita' with a blond male Caucasian. Then partly influenced by her siblings' success, she bagged some modeling assignments, including Lissome, as well as appeared in a Telugu movie. Plump, hair tied back, and bespectacled, she started working as a Marketing Executive with a multi-national company.


    Sameera's versatility as an actress and a trained Indian classical dancer made her perfect for Bollywood films. She debuted in a music video that got her noticed and kick started her movie career as one of the top actresses in India and has appeared in over fifteen films in just four years.

    Sameera Reddy made her debut in an innocent girl role with Sohail Khan in Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. This movie did not fare well but got her noticed and launched her career in Bollywood. Also she turned hottie as she progressed in bollywood.

    She tried her luck in Tollywood in a few films. She acted in "Narasimhudu" starring Jr. NTR and "Jai Chiranjeeva" starring Megastar Chiranjeevi but both tumbled at the box office.

    Meanwhile, many in the Telugu circuit consider Sameera Reddy as an iron leg as she was unable to score any success here.

    She has shown her ability to carry off multiple characters in films like the controversial blockbuster Musafir, where she played a rape victim who takes revenge to Kaalpurush - Memories in the Mist, an art house film where Sameera plays a double role as a middle-class housewife and a prostitute which won India's highest award, the National Award and has received critical acclaim on the festival circuit.


    Sameera was credited with having two independent films at the Toronto Film Festival 2007. Migration,a short film directed by the legendary Mira Nair wherein she plays the role of a housewife affected with the disease and The Voyeurs, her second film with Buddhadeb Das Gupta.

    As a symbol of fashion, sex, and beauty, Sameera has graced the covers of every magazine and is the subject of many documentaries including the BBC's Spice Trade. As a testament to her international appeal Sameera was chosen by the BBC to step in the shoes of Spice Girl Emma Bunton to experience celebrity life in the UK and was asked to be a guest actor on the hit series Casualty.

    Public in Mumbai are calling her as Jennifer Lopez. She feels proud of that and she takes as a best compliment.


    Sameera is also the first Indian actress to have her own video game, Sameera the Street Fighter. This mobile video game can be downloaded by millions of fans and is available to cell phone users throughout India.

    Affairs and flings are a common part of the film industry and right now. There is affair between director Gautham Menon and the ravishing sex siren Sameera Reddy. The actress has however denied the news, but many believe that most of the celebs initially react in this way only.

Sameera failed to give big blockbuster successes like Deepika Padukone or like Konkana Sen Sharma who managed to make their mark in Bollywood, however small through their first few films. However luck favoured Sameera in the South Indian Tamil Cinema where she recently acted in a movie Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon which proved to be a hit.
